Important Information About Your Dental Benefits
The Florida KidCare Program provides comprehensive dental benefits coverage to all enrollees. The benefits and dentists that are available may be different depending on which program your child is enrolled in under Florida KidCare.

To learn more about your child’s dental benefits and to check on which dentists may be available, click on your child’s program below.
- MEDICAID – For children from birth through age 18
- Medicaid offers dental benefits to all of its enrollees. There are no out of pocket costs or co-payments for these services.
- To learn more about the benefits available under Medicaid, click here.
- For these services to be covered, your child must use a dental provider that participates in the Medicaid program. To view the current listing of dentists who see Medicaid enrollees, click here.
- MEDIKIDS – For children from age 1 through age 4
- MediKids offers the same dental benefits as those under the Medicaid program. There are no out of pocket costs or co-payments for these services. To learn more about the benefits available under MediKids and Medicaid, click here.

- Children's Medical Services (CMS) Network
For children from birth through age 18 with special health care needs
- The Children's Medical Services (CMS) Network offers dental benefits to most of its enrollees. There are no out-of-pocket costs or co-payments for these services. To learn more about CMS Network dental benefits, click here.
- For dental services to be covered, your child must be enrolled in the CMS Network and must use a dental provider that participates in the CMS Network. To view the current listing of dentists that see CMS Network enrollees, click here.
- Florida Healthy Kids Corporation – For children from age 5 through age 18
- Children enrolled in the Healthy Kids program receive comprehensive dental benefits coverage with an annual benefit cap of $1,000 per child. What this means is that a child enrolled in the Healthy Kids program receives up to $1,000 per year (counted from July 1st through June 30th each year) in dental coverage with no out of pocket costs.

- Healthy Kids offers its enrollees a choice of 4 dental plans. All of the dental plans offer the same benefit package. Some plans may offer a discount on other services that are not covered or for services that a child may need after the annual benefit cap has been reached.
- Healthy Kids’ enrollees belong to one of the 4 dental plans and must use the dentists that are available in their plan for services to be covered.
