What is electronic correspondence?

E-correspondence means that you can opt to receive your letters electronically in your online account instead of having paper letters mailed to you. Each time you have a message from us, you will receive an email telling you to sign into your Florida KidCare online account to see your correspondence.

How do I sign up to receive my letters electronically?

To start receiving these email notices and stop receiving paper mail, please sign into your Florida KidCare online account. First, be sure your email address is correct. Then, make sure that you have selected “electronic” under “communications preference.”

I do not yet have a Florida KidCare online account. How do I create one?

If you don’t have an account, it’s easy to create one! You’ll need your Florida KidCare family account number and your Social Security number. Enter that information in the New User box and click Register to get started. Once you’ve signed in, check to make sure that your email address is correct. Then, make sure that you have “electronic” selected under “communications preference.”

I am still not receiving e-correspondence. What am I doing wrong?

If you have confirmed that your email address in your account is correct, and confirmed that “electronic” is selected under your “communications preference,” but are still not receiving your letters to your online account, please call Florida KidCare at 1-888-540-5437 for help.

Why did I suddenly start getting emails asking me to sign into my account for letters?

When you applied for Florida KidCare, you asked to receive letters electronically. Now that this option is available, you will automatically receive messages to your account without taking any action. If you wish to stop receiving your letters electronically, please sign into your account and select “mail” as your “communications preference.” You can also call 1-888-540-5437 for assistance.

Can I be enrolled in e-correspondence and still also receive my letters in the mail?

No – you must choose to receive your correspondence through the mail or through your online account. You can change your mind at any time and select the other option by signing into your account or calling 1-888-540-5437.
